Induction - then and now

Induction training is vital in preparing new starters for their role in the business - not only in terms of product & sytems expertise but also in creating the right attitudes and behaviours. Sadly, inductions are often uninspiring, heavy on passive receipt of ‘knowledge’ and light on involvement and fun.

This short video has two trainers talk about the transformation their inductions underwent.

"Dress Rehersal" in Perth and Basingstoke (Aug & Sept)

After developing a brand new induction programme and taking valuable lessons from the pilot, it was time to support the Induction Trainers from England, Scotland and Wales.

After the final 5-day workshop, each group was asked to recap and summarise their "Dress Rehersal" week in a creative way suitable for broadcasting in a podcast !!

Here are the results:

SSE TV:500 miles - trainer recap as a song

SSE TV:FM - trainer recap as a local radio show
